The Jiveoholics, Sunday 18 November, Hereford

Tickets are available for tomorrow night with the Jiveoholics

There's a good crowd booked to come along tomorrow night, but there will still be tickets available on the door - so you can risk just turning up if you want to. If you pre-book by ringing me before 5pm tomorrow on 01432 357859 I will put them on the door for you at £8.00 each, thereafter they will be unreserved tickets for sale on the door at £10 each. It's a big venue with a huge dance floor, so lots of space for everyone, and I'm looking forward to some great dancing. See you there!

The Jiveoholics, Leominster, 25 May

Describing themselves as 'the hottest jump jive band in Wales' they regularly pack dance halls around the country, and played 3 fantastic gigs for us in Hereford over the last couple of years. The Leominster venue is even bigger, so hopefully they'll prove just as popular and we'll have a packed dance floor once more. Tickets are now on sale for this gig with the popular Monmouth-based 'Jiveoholics'. Back by popular demand after a sell-out gig last year, they bill themselves as Wales' hottest jump-jive and swing band. See www.jiveoholics.co.uk for sample tunes. They have a new lead singer since last year ... but their quality is undiminished! Should be a great party atmosphere, and the band name says it all really ... though there'll be plenty for all styles of swing dancing.

Jiveoholics dance night a great success

Thanks to everyone who turned up for the our first live band night with the fantastic Jiveoholics. It was a great night, and the feedback we've had has been great .... fantastic atmosphere, venue, band and DJ music. Definitely a worth going to. And the place was almost to packed to capacity, so we managed to make a small profit ... which is a bonus, and we'll put that towards the next live band!

A photographer friend of Rob's came and took some fabulous pictures during the first part of the evening, see the samples above .... the full lot very soon (when I've worked out how to do it!) ... so you can see if you can spot yourself! If anyone wants high resolution versions emailing to them, email me.

Sorry not to have done this sooner ... not been very well for a couple of weeks ... but hopefully back on track now! Obviously done too much dancing!

The Jiveoholics playing for us on 18 April

It's time to get your tickets for what should be a fantastic evening with the wonderful Monmouth-based jive band 'The Jiveoholics'. As their own publicity says, they're '1 bus, 6 nutters, 5 instruments and a couple of chickens', and they do a great gig - the best of jump jive and r&b, and definitely all very danceable music. If you've not seen them, it's worth giving them a try, and if you don't dance you can just come and enjoy the music.


Support will be provided by our fabulous DJ 'Chalky' White, and the evening will start at 7.30 pm, with the band onstage at 8.00 pm. Kick-out time is 11.00 pm. Venue, as usual is the Richmond Club, details to the left.
